Our story

Small on purpose

A Shining Stars Early Learning Center sits on West Cypress Street in the heart of Kissimmee. We are family-run, and we have stayed small on purpose — because a child who is known by name learns differently than a child who is one of forty.

What began as an early learning center now includes Shining Star Christian Prep Academy, our private school through fifth grade. Families who start with us as toddlers can stay through the end of elementary, with the same teachers watching them grow.

Teaching here isn't a job. It's the reason the doors open every morning at six-thirty.
